Divisions are used to group and organize teams based on sport, skill level, geography, or seniority. Referees and fields also can be assigned to a division.

The above screenshot shows a list of divisions where you can manage the divisions:

  • The list of divisions is displayed in a table format.
  • You may sort the list either in ascending order or descending order by clicking on the column labels, such as ID, Name, #Teams, Priority, and Update date.
  • For example, click on the Name label to sort the list by division name in alphabetical order.
  • Here, #Teams shows the number of teams associated with each division, and Actions can be used to Update and Delete the division.

Adding a division

Click on the green plus icon at the top right corner and enter the following details.

  • Name: Provide a meaningful name for the division, which can be used in identifying the list of teams. Example: Division One
  • Priority: The priority tells the importance of a division. When presented to the user, the higher priority division appears at the top of the list. The default priority is always set to 5.
  • Allow tracking scores and standings: Choose if you would like to allow entering game scores to generate standings for the division’s teams.
  • Note: The scores can be updated only for past schedules, and we can check the standings on the website.
